The movers moved everything on Monday. We unpacked the rest of that day and yesterday. Today my husband is back at work and I’m trying to get myself going to do more, but right now I’m enjoying sitting on the sofa with my Molly cat in my lap listening to birds outside. Even with all the problems so far with this apartment and the little things I don’t like or wish it had, it feels like home already. Maybe it’s just how I look at things. I hope my husband can feel it too and soon.
We still don’t have the kitchen done enough to actually cook yet. The closets need organizing. Our new combo washer/dryer in one machine arrives in two weeks so I have to use the laundry rooms on property until then.
Dreams: Doing gorilla dance in class & Siwon won't let me touch his hair
Night before last I had a dream I was in a classroom chatting with friends and doing a sitting version of the 난리나 Nalina gorilla dance. Edit: I remembered also that I was writing 난리나 out on paper for someone to show them the hangul
Last night I had a dream I was in a room where the lights were all from under cabinets and stuff, not like a bar, but maybe a modern style apartment. Siwon of Super Junior was there wearing a white dress shirt and slacks. His hair was light blonde and longer like…
I asked if I could touch it and he said no. More happened, but I forget what.
Note to brain: next time dream about Heechul, Donghae or Eunhyuk, thanks.
I completed the B1A4 stitch and decided I wanted to do Block B next. First I was going to do fan art of Zico, but then I decided I 1. wanted to do the whole group 2. wanted to create my own image. I then edited a group photo from their debut because I really love how Zico looked then. I decided also that I wanted to try stitching this one on screen printing fabric I had leftover. Yeah I donno what I’m doing, I just try stuff and hope for the best!!
I ended up doing this step twice. -_- I had stretched the fabric, but the entire image doesn’t fit in my frame, when I re-stretched the image skewed, which was my problem with the B1A4 stitch. I need to work out a method for reals. So I took a new piece of the screen and sketched it when not stretched.
Then I stretched it and began stitching…
I’m trying not to have connecting threads behind the image in the negative space, but we’ll see if that works or not. Also this fabric is so thin I had to add paper towels and scrap fabric for stretching it and it still isn’t as tight as I’d like.
Every step I fear something dumb will happen that makes me decide to scrap it and try again.
hey anyone who wants to follow my stitching posts, I made a new tumblr for it (also with the idea I can link to it from Etsy without everyone seeing all my kpop fangirling)
